PRICING

After our consultation you'll be sent the Investment Guide which details different photoshoot options for you to choose from (length of time, number of outfits and number of images) and the enhancements you can add to fully make the most of your experience (professional hair and make-up and luxury products such as albums and wall art). You'll secure your booking with a £150 Session Fee when you sign your contract.

Digital images and products are NOT included in the Session Fee; they are sold separately and begin from £300, therefore the minimum investment of an Emerald Photography experience is £450.

We understand experiences are an investment which is why you can spread the costs across the months leading up to your session date, we can discuss at your consultation.

Professional hair & make-up styling will be available to add on.

All costs must be fully pre-paid before your session date.

DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

Yes - pre-payment plans are available, you can spread the cost of your experience over 6 months leading up to your session date.

ARE PROFESSIONAL HAIR & MAKE-UP SERVICES INCLUDED?

Professional hair & make-up styling is available as an add-on to your session. It's the perfect opportunity to relax and have some pampering before we start. Photoshoot make-up often needs a slightly heavier hand than what you're used to so it shows up on camera.

I STRUGGLE WITH DISORDERED EATING OR BODY DYSMORPHIA

Boudoir can be a therapeutic experience but it can also feel jarring to have so much attention directed on your body. Seeing photos can feel triggering for many people but especially those who have ED illnesses or body dysmorphia. Please consult with your therapist/counsellor before booking. If you go ahead, we can discuss how you can be supported to ensure you feel comfortable and safe so you can have the most empowering experience possible.

DO YOU PROVIDE OUTFITS & ACCESSORIES?

We do not offer a client wardrobe, however will happily chat with you at your consultation on suggestions of things to wear and where to source them.

HOW MANY OUTFITS SHOULD I BRING?

The amount of outfits we will shoot will depend on what type of session you choose. You're welcome to bring a variety of options and we can go through these at the start of your session to decide which styles to shoot.

WHERE WILL WE HAVE THE SESSION?

At Emerald Photography's beautiful natural light Studio in Falkirk town centre (45 Vicar Street, Falkirk, FK1 1LL). The Studio is a 2-minute walk from Falkirk Grahamston train station or a 25-minute walk from Falkirk High train station. There are several parking options in the area.

WILL YOU HELP ME WITH POSING?

Absolutely! You'll be fully guided all the way through your session so you don't need to think about how to pose, where to look or what to do with your hands.

WHO ELSE WILL BE AT THE SESSION?

If you are having hair & make-up styling, our Stylist will depart once she is finished which means it will just be you and Debbie for your private photoshoot.

CAN I BRING ANYONE WITH ME?

Additional people are not permitted to attend your session. This day is all about you; experience has shown that on the rare occasion when partners or friends have attended, it can cause disruption to our workflow in the physical space, will distract our attention and you may feel self-conscious as someone is observing you. If you would like us to make an exception, please request this in advance so we can discuss; it will only be permitted if we agree to this. If you bring someone else to the session, we reserve the right to refuse entry to that person.

HOW LONG WILL THE SESSION LAST?

The length of your session will depend on which session option you choose. If hair & make-up styling is included, this will take an additional one and a half to two hours.

WHAT IF I ARRIVE LATE?

We understand that sometimes things are outwith our control, therefore please leave in plenty of time to make sure you arrive to your session on time. If you’re more than 30 minutes late, your session will not go ahead. If you arrive late but less than 30 minutes, your session will still end at the pre-agreed time.

CAN I KEEP MY PHOTOS PRIVATE?

Of course! This is your experience and your comfort is priority. Your images will never be shared without your allowance. We'll follow up with you after your session to ask permission if you'll allow us to share all or specific images. The majority of our clients do choose to keep their images private just for themselves.

WILL YOU 'PHOTOSHOP' MY IMAGES?

Whist Photoshop is used to edit your images, this is for perfecting what we've captured and to enhance light and colour. Anything temporary which will not be there in two weeks time such as bruises, skin blemishes and scrapes will be edited. Light skin smoothing will also be applied. The shape or size of your body and your features will not be altered. It's important you recognise a real version of yourself when you see your photos. The utmost care will be taken to show you in the best light and this will still include seeing your tummy, stretch marks, body rolls and all the beautiful human aspects of you. You'll be shown you can do amazing things with the body you're in right now and every single part of you is worthy and beautiful.

WHEN WILL I SEE MY IMAGES?

Once we complete your session your images will be added to Emerald Photography's editing queue and your online gallery will be completed within 4 weeks of your session date. Products (luxury albums, coffee table books, wall art or folio boxes) can take around 2 weeks to arrive once ordered.

HOW MANY IMAGES CAN I EXPECT TO SEE?

This will depend on which session option you choose. All images taken will be reviewed, culled and edited at Emerald Photography's discretion to show you a gallery of retouched final images. RAW and unedited files will not be provided. We have the final decision both creatively, and on what images you ultimately receive based on our judgement.

WHAT IS THE REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY?

If you cancel for any reason, your Session Fee of £150 is non-refundable, but you will be refunded any payments you have made towards the purchase of a session and/or products (provided such cancellation is made prior to your session date taking place).

If you need to reschedule your session due to an emergency or illness, please give us as much notice as possible. You won’t be charged to reschedule your session to another date however if you reschedule again, you will be charged 50% of the costs for the original session (50% of the £150 Session Fee which is £75).

“Life-affirming, joyful, magical. It's an 'experience' - it’s more than the end product of the photos, they just make it perfect!” - Marie
